Eid Milan Held at the Pakistan Embassy
An Eid Milan and Family Event was held at the Embassy of Pakistan, Copenhagen on Sunday, 18th of June 2018. The Denmark-based Pakistani community enthusiastically participated at the event held in collaboration with a Pakistani community association. Pakistani cuisine, clothes, henna etc. were available at the numerous stalls set up. The participants were enthralled to listen to live Pakistani music from well-known local singer Pervaiz Akhtar and Dhol Player Sabeeh Yusuf.
Ambassador Gardezi and his spouse welcomed the families to the event. In his remarks, the Ambassador noted that the celebration reflected the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan and praised the efforts of the ladies from the Pakistani community and the Pakistan Embassy staff which helped to organize the event. The donation collected will be sent to a charity in Pakistan.
Participants numbering over two hundred were appreciative of the Embassy’s initiative in getting the Pakistani community together for first time to celebrate Eid at the Chancery in such an event.

It has come to the notice of the Embassy of Pakistan Copenhagen that some recently established self-styled “NADRA Advice Bureaus” are charging money from the applicants for helping them submit their Online NADRA Applications.
The Embassy clarifies that these “NADRA Advice Bureaus” operating at some places in Denmark are unauthorized entities, not sanctioned by the Embassy.
It may be noted that the Online Application Service for NICOP/PoC was started to facilitate the applicants to submit their NICOP/PoC applications from any place of convenience.
Since such Bureaus have no official authorization to operate, the Embassy will not be responsible for loss of money or theft of information of the applicants. Some of the applicants are already facing difficulties in NICOP processing due to fudging in their applications by the above mentioned Bureaus.
The purported “NADRA Advice Bureaus” are also warned that any use of the logo of the Government of Pakistan would be illegal and liable to prosecution.
The Pakistani community members, in their own interest, are advised to beware of the situation.
